Since 2009, the African Youth and Governance Convergence (AYGC), convened by the Youth Bridge Foundation (YBF) has mobilized and converged about 120 youth from Africa and the Diaspora to be coached and mentored by seasoned experts and professionals annually. Informed by the concern that young Africans who should give momentum to the continent’s transformation are largely alienated and marginalized, the AYGC; an all year round leadership grooming program with an annual convergence, offers capacity development and coaching to harness youth potential. As part of the Convergence, youth are put to work in Committees under the supervision of a Coach.
Dr. Kay Morris came on board as a Coach during the 2010, 2011, and 2012 physical Convergences that brought together youth to interrogate and analyze specific state and continental policies, brainstorm on global best practices and recommended youth-responsive alternatives for the Continent over a 5-day period. Dr. Kay Morris has since remained a committed Coach and Mentor to the AYGC platform and Community.
Dr. Kay Morris is one of the pioneer coaches of the AYGC whose passion and commitment to youth
development is distinctive. Her periodic interaction with the AYGC Community of youth from over 42 African Countries and the Diaspora has inspired and impacted their lives positively. Her engagements since inception has inspired these young people to take up roles in corporate, private and leadership spaces and key leadership positions. Dr. Kay Morris has been instrumental in sustaining international relationships with especially youth and institutions from Canada. We look forward to our continued relationship with her as she assumes her new role as a Life Coach with the Kingdom Builders Academy.

I first came in contact with Dr. Kay Morris when I came to Canada in 2016. I was on the Canada /USA tour with The Silvertones of Barbados. Her then church was one of our major stops, what a grand time we had indeed, but little did I know that 5 years later I would have had a divine encounter with her.
On the 10th of November, 2021, I reached out to several women’s groups and individuals to share my book and other ideas as it relates to developing my vision. Of all those persons I contacted she was the only person that responded to my email. The divine encounter started from there, she then introduced me to her coaching program Beauty For Ashes. In my heart I wanted something new, a fresh start, I wanted to experience a supernatural move of God in my life, little did I know that she was the source to the fire that needed to be ignited in my life. Her prayers, encouragement and laughter help to keep me going through my down moments.
Dr. Kay Morris is a mighty and powerful woman of God, she is selfless and full of compassion. Having an encounter with her is a live changing experience.
